Your employment agreement can’t stop you working for other people unless there are reasonable grounds listed in the agreement. Reasons could be: protecting your boss’s business knowledge or reputation, or conflict of interest. These rules apply to agreements made on or after 1 April 2016. For older agreements, there’s a time lag.
