Can my partner get parental leave?

You can get up to 2 weeks’ parental leave if your partner is the primary carer of a child you’ll be taking care of. You can take this leave around the time of the birth, adoption or when you begin care of the child. You can get 2 weeks if you’ve worked 12 months, or 1 week if you’ve worked for 6 months. If you’re the primary carer, you can transfer some or all of your leave up to the full 22 weeks to your partner.
