If your doctor has cleared you to go back to work but your employer doesn’t want you to come back, they can get a second doctor opinion at their expense, and if the second doctor agrees with your doctor, your employer has to let you return to work.  If the second doctor disagree with your doctor, you could get a third opinion. If the third doctor says you aren’t ready to go back to work, you can ask for annual leave or leave without pay.  If the third doctor says you can go back to work and your employer says no, they have to pay you your weekly salary, regardless if you are at work or not.
