Your employer can’t deduct money from your wages just because of miscalculations or other mistakes. They can only deduct after overpayment if the payment was for time when you were away from work without permission, suspended, on strike or locked out, and because the payment method meant it wasn’t reasonably possible to avoid it (like equipment failure).
