Your boss has to give you a reasonable chance to negotiate in good faith on the timing and length of your breaks. If you can’t agree, your boss can decide on your breaks in a way that gives their business continuity. They need to take into account their business and its resources, and your interests as an employee. The breaks need to be of a reasonable length and timing.
If your boss doesn’t give you breaks or compensation for not having them, you can complain to the Employment Relations Authority and they can fine your boss.
