How do I take a problem to the ERA?

You or your boss can start the process of going to the Employment Relations Authority. You fill out a simple form called ‘Statement of problem’ where you say what the problem is and how you want it resolved. You lodge the application by sending the form to the Authority and paying the fee of $71.56.
The Authority has offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, but its members can travel to where the problem is.
