Is an employer allowed to ask about disabilities in job interviews?

When you’re interviewing for a job, employers can ask you if you have any medical problems or impairments that could affect your doing it to a satisfactory standard (“Do you have any medical problems or disabilities that could affect your ability to do the job?”). You have to answer those questions honestly, but not ones based on an unlikely, worst-case scenario.
