You may have problems getting your domestic violence rights, for example if your employer:
• has refused domestic violence leave
• won’t pay you for domestic violence leave
• didn't answer your request for short-term flexible working within the 10 working days limit
• unreasonably refused your request without using the right ‘non-accommodation grounds’
• treated you badly or unfairly because they think you're affected by domestic violence.
If you have problems getting your domestic violence rights, you should first talk to your employer. If this doesn't work, you have a range of options.
