my bosses have set up 3 cameras they are also voice recording ones are they allowed to do this. I work in a restaurant so these cameras will hear every conversation the customers have

Monitoring and filming employees should only be done where it’s reasonable, e.g. if it’s needed to protect them from injury, or if theft is a problem. Filming and watching staff may lower morale and productivity if staff feel they aren’t trusted.
