As an employee you have to take reasonable care for your health and safety at work, and make sure you don’t harm others. As far as you’re reasonably able to, you have to follow your boss’s reasonable instructions about health and safety, and cooperate with reasonable policies and procedures, for example use protective clothing.
These responsibilities as an employee don’t affect or limit the health and safety duties of employers and others.
