An ‘employment agreement dispute’ is about how an employment agreement should apply or operate, or how it should be interpreted. It must have come out of a real, not hypothetical, situation. If it involves a collective agreement, the person pursuing the dispute has to tell all the unions and employers covered by the agreement.
If you and your employer have a dispute about an employment agreement and can’t agree, you can get free mediation. If that doesn’t solve it, you can take a case to the Employment Relations Authority.
