You and your employer can together ask the Employment Relations Authority to make a recommendation, which will become a final, legally binding decision on the date which you and your boss agree to, unless one of you objects before that date.
The Employment Relations Authority usually looks at whether mediation has been tried, and directs them to use mediation if it thinks it would be appropriate. This mediation emphasis doesn’t apply when there are claims of breaching workers’ minimum rights on pay, holidays/leave, rest/meal breaks, and breastfeeding facilities.
