If your boss is bullying you, you can get advice from: your organisation’s human resources manager, MBIE’s mediation services, Worksafe NZ’s health and safety inspectorate, your union, or a Community Law centre.
If your co-worker is bullying you, you need to tell your boss. Once they are aware of bullying, they need to take reasonable steps to ensure a safe workplace. Otherwise you may be able to take a personal grievance for unjustified disadvantage.
Bullying can be hard to prove and may involve small or subtle actions over time, so it’s a good idea to record whenever you’ve felt bullied.
