Unfortunately, some employers ask illegal job interview questions in order to obtain discriminatory information from job candidates.
No organisation, company or employer can ask you about your: relationship status, pregnancy status, age, political views, home life, gender identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, health status, religious views, ethnicity, nationality, past or current employers’ work practices.
Remember, the above examples are only areas that an interviewer can’t ask you about but sometimes an interviewer might ask a question that relates to one of those areas.
