You may have a personal grievance if your employer or their representative racially harasses you. This is where the other person uses written or spoken language, visual material or behaviour that directly or indirectly expresses hostility against you, or brings you into contempt or ridicule, based on your race, colour or ethnic or national origins, and is hurtful and offensive to you (whether or not you tell them it is), and affects your employment, job performance, or job satisfaction, either because of the language, material or behaviour, or because it’s repeated.
