When do I get paid holiday pay?

You get your holiday pay before you take the holiday, unless you’ve agreed to get it in your usual pay period. If your job ends,any holiday pay owing must be paid in your final pay.
You can be paid holiday pay as-you-go if you’re on a genuine fixed-term contract of 12 months or less, or if you do genuine, irregular casual work and it’s not practical for your boss to give you 4 weeks’ holidays. You can only be paid as-you-go if you’ve agreed to it in your contract. It has to be listed separately in your payslip and at least 8% of your gross earnings.
